Prof. Hamid R. Rabiee, Professor of Computer Engineering at Sharif University of Technology, is an internationally acclaimed researcher in artificial intelligence, complex networks, and Bayesian learning. He has been a faculty member at Sharif University since 2000 and previously held research and engineering roles at AT&T Bell Laboratories and Intel Corporation in the United States.
He earned his BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Long Beach, his EEE degree from the University of Southern California (USC), and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University. Dr. Rabiee’s work bridges foundational research, real-world AI applications, and international policy, positioning him as a key figure in advancing responsible innovation in science and technology.
