Professor Anthony Smith, Director of the Centre for Online Health at The University of Queensland, is a global leader in digital health, telehealth innovation, and virtual care implementation. With over 24 years of research experience, he has designed, implemented, and evaluated a wide range of telehealth services across Australia.
Professor Smith’s pioneering contributions continue to shape equitable and technology-enabled healthcare delivery in both rural and urban settings. He also serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Telemedicine and Telecare (SAGE, London), which has a 5-year Impact Factor of 4.9.
