Background and aims: Heart failure (HF) is a chronic, complicated syndrome that is manifested by signs and symptoms due to structural or functional defects that impair the heart's ability to fill with or eject blood effectively. Telemedicine, on the other hand, is a form of remote healthcare that encompasses the use of advanced information and communications technologies to connect patients with health care providers or to facilitate communication among medical experts. This article aims to review the advantages, limitations, and future possibilities of telemedicine technologies in chronic heart failure management. Method: This study employed the use of PubMed and Scopus databases in the research, applying the PRISMA method in screening all articles. Articles must meet three conditions to be used: they must be original, English language, and clinical trial studies. Reviews and short papers were excluded. The search strategy was built utilizing MeSH keywords and incorporated up to mid-2025 publications. Results: During the time of search, 404 articles were identified, but only 14 met the inclusion criteria after screening. The articles researched focused on two groups: women and adults over the age of 19. It is also noteworthy that the communication applied in the studies was patient-mobile application use with no other means being reported. Telemedicine, with advances in technology, has shown significant improvements in the management of heart failure by increasing patient participation and empowerment and improving certain aspects of patient care. Conclusion: Telemedicine represents a promising approach to helping both clinicians and patients in the care of heart failure. It can reduce healthcare utilization cost, hospitalization, and the requirement for face-to-face outpatient visits. Telemedicine interventions can also improve clinical outcomes in this group of patients. Additional research is necessary to evaluate patient satisfaction and ensure the achievement of effective care outcomes in this field.
