Background and aims: Big data refers to a set of data that is so large that it cannot be managed using conventional methods and tools for managing, processing, and analyzing data. It is recognized as an important meta-field in the information age. Big data plays a very important role in the world of artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is based on analyzing data and extracting patterns and useful information from it. Big data serves as the main source of information for training and feeding AI systems. Materials: The present study is a review study that was conducted using the ISI, Pubmed, and Science Direct databases and Persian sources Iranmedex, SID, and Magiran. The search in these databases was conducted using the keywords: Big data, Artificial Intelligence, and Health technology , Management. Among the studies published between 2010 and 2025, 40 articles were extracted, and finally 10 articles were reviewed in line with the researchers' goals. Results: To manage big data, tools and technologies such as distributed database systems, parallel processing technologies, and advanced data analysis algorithms are used. The role of big data in AI includes: 1. Training AI models: Big data is used to train AI models, especially deep learning models. By feeding models with large amounts of data, more complex patterns and relationships can be identified and recognized. 2. Providing input to AI systems: Big data is used as input to AI systems. This data provides the information needed for the systems to perform specific tasks. AI algorithms excel at processing and analyzing large volumes of data, enabling managers to gain deeper insights into their operations. AI technology, with human-like decision-making in various situations and circumstances, has become a category that is highly regarded by managers, practitioners, and policymakers. Conclusion: By developing and improving artificial intelligence models, big data, as a large sampling of various aspects of the problem, and with the help of modern information technologies, helps systems to achieve greater accuracy and power in recognizing patterns and predicting events. In the future, indicator-based management using artificial intelligence will replace traditional management
