Background and aims: The Fourth Industrial Revolution has ushered in a transformative era, with Artificial Intelligence (AI) playing a pivotal role in reshaping various fields, including medicine and dentistry. Method: AI encompasses a broad spectrum of technologies that enable machines to replicate human cognitive functions such as visual perception, speech recognition, decision-making, and language translation. In healthcare, AI has been integrated into medical and dental imaging diagnostics, decision support systems, precision digital medicine, and digital education. Modern learners, often referred to as digital natives, differ significantly from previous generations. Thriving in an interconnected world, they highly value interactive and technology-driven learning experiences. Results: AI-integrated medical education presents new opportunities for advanced teaching methodologies, enhancing student engagement, knowledge retention, and overall learning outcomes. Dentistry faculties and educators have recognized the potential of these advancements to enhance the learning experience and guide patient care and have actively integrated them into their curricula.
