Abstract

Background and aims: Today, telemedicine has created a new revolution in increasing access to healthcare services. On the other hand, in the field of health, the use of artificial intelligence as a medical assistant in healthcare and medical assistance to patients and the health team has become a global priority. While in deprived and remote areas, the exposure of disadvantaged populations to geographical isolation, limited access to healthcare and treatment, and economic disincentives have led to health and health inequalities. The aim of this study was to examine the expansion of health justice, with a fundamental transformation based on the integration of telemedicine and artificial intelligence. This research examined the issue of how telemedicine and artificial intelligence can create a fundamental transformation in the expansion of health justice? Method: In the present review study, 45 research articles were identified and analyzed by searching reputable scientific databases through a selection and filtering process. Inclusion and exclusion criteria were applied based on the relevance of the topic and the quality of the articles. Results: Telemedicine systems based on artificial intelligence are a fundamental transformation in medicine. The expansion of comprehensive and technology-driven medical services will improve the treatment process of patients around the world and reduce the gap in health care inequalities, especially in remote areas. Conclusion: According to this study, the integration of telemedicine and artificial intelligence plays an important and key role in increasing access to medical care and medical information and expanding health equity. In order for people around the world to achieve health equity, policymakers should examine the growing health needs and existing challenges with collaborative and monitoring efforts, regardless of geographical or socio-economic limitations, allocate sufficient funds to implement this project, and in addition to preparing and strengthening infrastructure, provide sufficient training for people to create a smart and patient-centered health system based on justice and well-being of individuals. The quality of life of patients in disadvantaged spaces will improve.
