Background and aims: Artificial intelligence is a new era in medicine. Choosing a skilled and specialized surgeon in the field of cosmetic surgery who uses modern technologies can have a great impact on surgical outcomes. With the advancement of technology, new tools and methods have been created to improve the accuracy and results of cosmetic procedures. Artificial intelligence predicts the side effects of surgery based on the patient's medical history and physical characteristics. Artificial intelligence makes the lives of patients, doctors, and hospital operations easier by performing operations that are generally performed by humans, with the advantage of consuming less money and time. Artificial intelligence can optimize processes such as simulating surgical results and even cosmetic consultations. This study was conducted with the aim of applying artificial intelligence in cosmetic surgery. Materials: The present study is a review study that was conducted using the ISI, Pubmed, and Science Direct databases and Persian sources Iranmedex, SID, and Magiran. The search in these databases was conducted using the keywords: artificial intelligence, cosmetic surgery, and application of artificial intelligence. Among the studies published between 2000 and 2025, 40 articles were extracted, and finally 10 articles were reviewed in line with the researchers' goals. Results: Artificial intelligence can more accurately predict surgical outcomes. This helps surgeons plan more precisely and prevent potential errors. In the future, it will improve surgical accuracy, support intraoperative decision-making, and increase surgical safety. Using artificial intelligence technologies, surgical time can be reduced. It is expected that we will see more applications of artificial intelligence in cosmetic surgery in the future. Artificial intelligence can even help in post-surgical management. Doctors can track patients' recovery and provide necessary warnings in case of possible complications. Conclusion: Currently, AI is not capable of performing cosmetic surgery. Cosmetic surgery requires precision and medical knowledge, and AI cannot yet completely replace the knowledge and experience of doctors. However, AI is being used as a tool in cosmetic surgery. The use of smart tools has not only increased surgical precision but also provided a safer experience with better results for patients.
