Background and aims : According to the World Health Organization , Alzheimer's disease is the seventh leading cause of death among all diseases, and the number of affected individuals is increasing daily. Artificial intelligence has proven to be useful in many areas of medicine, including disease diagnosis. Neuroimaging techniques, such as magnetic resonance imaging , play a vital role in creating diagnostic indicators for Alzheimer's disease in its preclinical stage. However, with the rapid advancement of neuroimaging technology, analyzing and interpreting brain imaging data presents challenges. Consequently, there is significant interest in utilizing Artificial intelligence to assist in this analysis. The aim of this study is to review early diagnostic methods for Alzheimer's using artificial intelligence, which offers opportunities for timely interventions and improves patient care, potentially enhancing the quality of life for patients. Method : In this systematic review, studies related to "Alzheimer," Artificial intelligence , and Magnetic resonance imaging were examined both separately and in combination using these keywords. The search was conducted across several databases, including PubMed, Scopus, Web of Science, and the search engine Google Scholar, covering the period from 2015 to 2024. Ultimately, 156 articles were identified, of which 46 met the specified criteria and were included in the study. Results : The review of studies indicates that with the continuous development of artificial intelligence, this technology can significantly contribute to the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease using images obtained from neuroimaging via magnetic resonance imaging. This advancement is crucial in interventional and diagnostic medicine, as early diagnosis is essential for effectively managing Alzheimer’s disease. By identifying patients with Alzheimer's disease in its early stages, it may be possible to halt or slow its progression, thereby preserving patients' functioning and reducing the overall burden of the disease.
