Abstract
Background and aims: The idea is to “build an AI assistant for monitoring rational drug prescription.” Preliminary studies and scientific, technical, and economic feasibility studies have been conducted. The product is to be based on AI LLM models. The final product is to be developed using agile software rules and delivered to the target market. Method: The main strategic goal is to increase productivity in the field of drug prescription and reduce patient overhead costs. The main practical goal is to provide the possibility of efficient management monitoring in the field of drug prescription (with rational prescription criteria) in related organizations (insurance companies, the Ministry of Health, and universities). In the field of drug information management and related monitoring at the level of insurance companies and the Ministry of Health, a variety of software solutions have been produced and are being used. These software merely meet routine needs; therefore, designing and developing products based on AI models that cover the requirements hidden in their information and reports is very productive. The degree of rationality of drug prescriptions will be extracted from the content of guidelines and standard drug prescription protocols. Any prescription with drug interactions, drug precedence and delay, and induced prescription (with bias) will be presented as a percentage of rationality by the AI model. Results: Entering the knowledge-based field of rational drug prescription management by utilizing high-value-added tools in AI. Optimal and dedicated use of large language models (LLM) and not entering traditional machine learning processes such as building neural networks. Conclusion: So far, no similar example of the product of the present idea has been presented in the country, and there is no completely similar product in other leading countries, but there are several related technical projects in related fields such as drug production or distribution.
