Background and Aim: Today, the advancement of artificial intelligence and its integration into global life has resolved many challenges. In the field of medicine, particularly personalized medicine, Artificial Intelligence has provided promising assistance, although it also comes with certain challenges. The aim of this systematic review is to examine the revolutionary role of Artificial Intelligence in personalized medicine by analyzing dynamic opportunities, identifying challenges in this industry, and proposing strategies to enhance medical services, improve treatment outcomes, and maximize patient satisfaction. Methods: In this review, an extensive search was conducted using keywords such as "artificial intelligence", "personalized medicine" and "disease prediction" in databases including PubMed/Medline, Web of Science (WOS) Core Collection, Scopus, and Google Scholar, as well as national databases such as Irandoc, SID and Magiran. The initial search yielded 219 studies. Inclusion criteria were limited to studies published within the last five years, and studies without full-text access or duplicate studies were excluded. After critical evaluation using relevant tools, 18 studies were selected for detailed analysis. Results: The studies indicate that the integration of Artificial Intelligence into medicine, particularly personalized medicine, has significantly contributed to this field by improving the accuracy of prediction, timely identification, and diagnosis of diseases, as well as enabling the development of unique treatments. Additionally, Artificial Intelligence has facilitated the organization of patient data, saving time and enabling faster initiation of treatment. Conclusion: In conclusion, the accurate diagnosis and timely use of Artificial Intelligence can reduce the burden on personalized medical systems and lead to faster recovery, resulting in reduced costs and increased patient satisfaction with healthcare providers. However, challenges such as public unawareness of Artificial Intelligence and its applications, limited access to Artificial Intelligence technologies, and insufficient infrastructure for widespread implementation in healthcare centers remain. Addressing these issues is essential to ensure that society can fully benefit from the potential of Artificial Intelligence.
