Abstract

A convolutional neural network is a special type of multilayer neural network that processes data with a grid-like arrangement and then extracts important features from it. A major advantage of using CNNs is that there is no need for large-scale preprocessing of the images. Artificial intelligence, especially deep learning, has had a tremendous impact on medical science, and in this article, we have discussed a new method in deep learning in order to identify types of cancers early. Background and aims: This article has been done in a scientific research method using the Python programming language in Google Colab. Our goal is early diagnosis of all types of cancers with a special deep learning method through CT scan and MRA image processing, and in the next step, these images are classified into patients and healthy people. In the treatment of cancers, the most important thing is the accurate and early diagnosis of cancer, which we have achieved in this article. Method: Our method in this paper is to use the Yolov8 method in deep learning. After detecting the presence or absence of tumor in medical images, using classification models, these images are divided into patients and healthy people. All coding of this artificial intelligence model has been done using Python programming language. Results: We studied the articles of other researchers and then we found a suitable model for processing lung images. The accuracy of this model is more than 93% on new images, which shows the proper functioning of this neural network. Conclusion: In the last stage of our article, we expressed the future challenges in using neural networks to diagnose cancers and suggestions for other researchers in the field of artificial intelligence and neural networks. The use of the right model in the neural network, the right data, augmentation, etc. are among the most important reasons that made our neural network perform so well.
