Abstract
Background and aims: Immuno-oncology, as a novel therapeutic optionpillar inwithin oncology, and has revolutionized cancer treatment as a method forby facilitating immune-mediated tumor tumour clearance. However, due to the variability of patient response to immunotherapy and the lack of reliable methods for predicting the immunotherapy response, there is a need for a more accurate necessitate the development of an improved method that can accuratelyprecisely in identifying predict the outcome of immunotherapy and identify the group of patients who may benefit from immunotherapyeutic drugs. Method: Artificial intelligence (AI) is a novel approach as a major frontier in medical research, is reshaping medicine and shifting paradigms in clinical practice. Thus we have provided an overview about on the application of employing AI in immuno-oncology, particularly and explain how it can AI can be used to analyzesanalyse multi-omics data, and pathological and radiological images to predict immunotherapy outcomes. Results: In terms of Immuno-oncology, AI has the potential could help to discover revealdiscover novel predictive biomarkers, establish decision-support systems, predict immunotherapy response, classify patients into subgroups, and predict drug efficacy and synergy using multi-omics data, medical imaging, and histological analysis. Conclusion: This AI-based approach has enormous potential in the effective management of immuno-oncology and optimizing treatment plans in addition to saving human resources and costs.
