Introduction: Smart hospitals are the next step in healthcare systems, aimed to improve patient care and operational efficiency by utilizing advanced technologies. Also, the importance of big data and knowledge management cannot be underestimated. Big data analytics allows healthcare providers to process, analyze and uncover valuable insights. ensuring that this information is efficiently categorized and accessible, fostering better decision-making, is done by knowledge management. These three together creates a revolution in transforming healthcare delivery and enhancing patient outcomes and efficiency of systems. Methodology: Large datasets have been gathered by automated data capture systems in smart hospitals. Processing the data is done by advanced data analytics tools and machine learning algorithms. Finally, specific AI algorithms employed to develop predictive models for personalizing patient care. Results: Personalized treatment and predictive models, enhance patients’ outcomes. This integration reduces operational costs and optimize resource allocation, thereby boosting operational efficiency. Additionally, enhanced clinical decision support systems (CDSS) by providing real-time insights and recommendations to healthcare professionals can ultimately improve the quality and safety of patient care. Conclusion: Smart hospitals can significantly improve patient care and hospital’s efficiency. The integration of big data, knowledge management, and smart hospital technologies represents a transformative step forward in healthcare delivery.
